Our story
Silcox Family Funeral Directors was established in 1986, beginning with a courageous step into the unknown and a sincere commitment to caring for local families.
Four decades later, we have had the privilege of supporting thousands of families throughout Llanelli and the surrounding areas. Throughout that time, our purpose has remained the same: to help every family create a heartfelt and dignified goodbye.
We believe every family deserves to have an experienced professional by their side, offering calm guidance and compassionate support through one of life’s most difficult times. The trust placed in us by our community has grown over the years, and we never take that trust for granted.
Three generations of family care
The business was founded by Malcolm and Mary Silcox, whose personal approach established the values on which Silcox was built. In time, families came to know and trust their son, Paul, who continued to care for them with the same kindness, professionalism and attention to detail.
Today, that responsibility has passed to the third generation, with Paul’s son, Callum, taking the helm. Having joined the family business from an early age, Callum carries forward everything taught to him by his father and grandparents.
Although the business has grown and evolved, our family values remain unchanged. We cherish the privilege of being invited to care for families and their loved ones, and we are always here when we are needed.
